Brian Turner specialises in the art of architectural and ornamental leadwork and uses specialist techniques to design and produce authentic and original leadworks for clients throughout the UK.

Turners was first established in 1977 and Brians expertise lies in fashioning bespoke, hand crafted leadworks that are sensitive to history, form and function.

Commissions

Turners will hold a consultation with you to discuss your ideas and conduct an on site visit whilst not essential, is invaluable. The site can therefore be analysed and agreed prior to the resulting piece being installed..

Restoration

Restoration is always a challenge and takes the most time. Brian believes that the problems with each individual object must first be analysed before a resolution can be agreed upon and executed.

Brian has made us a saucer shaped, lead fountain for our garden and we are delighted with it. We scoured the UK for something simple and elegant and this is exactly what he has produced. Not only does the fountain look beautiful but it is calming to listen to and has also attracted more birds to the garden who view it as their own personal bath!

For Westminster Abbey Cloister and Fountain

Brian Turner has been recognised by his fellow craftsmen for the time, effort and years of practice and knowledge that went into the making of the cistern. The planter was designed and commissioned to commemorate the tercentenary of Lancelot Capability Brown by Ptolemy Dean, the Abbey's Surveyor of fabricant, and developed with the assistance of TV celebrity gardener Alan Titchmarsh.
