This fountain was the centre piece of a Chelsea medal winner in 2008.
I was inspired by an ordinary pine cone, made a sketch and asked George Carter to design it. The clay sculpture was made be Helen Dixon of Alby Craft. Then it was made into the fountains to be used as central feature in the exhibits for the TRGN 2006 and 2008 Chelsea Chelsea flower show. The height of the large pine cone is 900mm High x 600mm diameter, weighing in at 300 kilos this was a very challenging project.
To date only two have been made limited it to 3 and no more, one of which can been seen at The Romantic Garden Nursery in Norfolk.
